When you are new to Ratio, the Starter badge will let clients know you are among the best new marketers in the Ratio marketplace.

To become a Contributor, you must have great potential based on a strong background in your field(s) and early success with your Ratio clients.

This badge is one of the ways that we help freelancers and agencies who are new to our platform establish themselves on Ratio.

Q: Does Ratio charge any fees?
A: No we don't charge any fees, it's free to use and you can sign up going to tryratio.com

Q: I don’t have access to a campaign anymore, but I want to feature it on Ratio, can I use screenshots?
A: Ratio can only display verified performance for campaigns that you still have access to. We cannot currently verify any performance via screenshots or other methods. We realize this limits some of what you can display, but will become less of a problem over time as you build up your body of work on Ratio.

Q: I don’t want to connect my ad accounts to Ratio, can I still be featured?
A: No. Currently Ratio only features marketers that connect their ad accounts to prove their past performance, no exceptions.

Q: What data does Ratio request from my Meta & Google Ad accounts?

A: We request read access to campaign stats, like CTR, CPM, CPC and to ad creatives to determine ad category. We're an officially verified app on Meta, and connecting Ratio to your account is very similar to connecting an external automatic reporting tool that gathers campaign data.

Q: What platforms do you support?
A: Currently, we support importing ads from Meta & Google Ads, with more coming soon.

Q: Does Ratio charge any fees?
A: No we don't charge any fees to users on our platform; it's free to use and you can sign up by visiting tryratio.com. Ratio only charges fees to clients, never marketers. 

Q: How much will I get paid to be on Ratio?
A: Users are able to set their own rate on the platform. Ratio charges clients (not marketers) a fee that is a percentage of the total retainer the marketer will be paid. Ratio is a marketer-first program, so you will never be charged to work with us.

Q: I love my client, can we work together full-time?
A: Only if you go through us first. We understand that you will build up a relationship with your client over time, and we hope to set you up with them long-term. Ask your client to speak to Ratio about our conversion program.

Q: Does Ratio anonymize the data?

A: Yes, only the category of the vertical (ex. automobile) and the statistics (4% CTR) are displayed. No other data is visible and no association to any companies or ad creatives is made.

Q: What does Ratio do with my data?
A: Ratio only gains read access to your metrics. No personal identifiers, no company information, and certainly nothing proprietary. Just the metric (ex. 4% CTR) and the vertical/industry (ex. personal injury law) are displayed and utilized by Ratio. Ratio is a verified app on both Meta and Google.

Q: Is it legal to connect my ad data if it does not belong to me?
A: The data we gather from your ad accounts or any other data source you connect to after signing up to Ratio is fully anonymized, and we give you the option to delete your data from our database with one click. 
We only use this data to rank you compared to other marketers on our platform and at some point we will use this data to help you improve and perform better for your clients. But remember if at any time you want us to delete the data you can log in to the platform and close the data source (from the connect data tab). 
Our only goal here is to attribute the great work you have done in the past and showcase it to the world on how great you are.

Q: I own an agency, can I connect my client’s data?
A: If you have access to their ad campaigns then you should be able to collect the dataThis is your work, you should get attribution for your work and their names won’t show up, our only goal here is to attribute your work.

Q: I have access through my company email, should I connect this data?
A: Yes the data is anonymized so your employer won’t know, this tool only gives attribution for the work you’ve done, and no trade secrets are shared. This tool will help you perform better on your accounts as it analyzes your performance moving forward.
